Did you know that there are over 5,300 bishops in the world? Every 5 years they take an “ad limina” visit, a papal meeting required for every bishop in the world to provide an update on the state of one’s diocese.
Starting earlier this month U.S. Bishops began their regional trips to Rome to visit with Pope Francis. The U.S. Bishops will complete their visits by the end of February.
Wish all of our U.S. Bishops safe travels to Rome, especially our very own Bishop Joseph Kopacz, who will be on his ad limina visit from November 30 – December 7.
