Will Foggo grew up in Flowood, attending St. Paul Catholic Church. His education began at St. Paul Early Learning Center, continued through St. Richard Elementary, and culminated at St. Joseph High School in Madison. Following high school, Will pursued a degree in Civil Engineering at Mississippi State University, where he was also deeply involved in the Catholic Campus Ministry.
Reflecting on his spiritual journey, Will shared, "I first felt the desire for priesthood when I was a senior in high school. But it was during my college years that the call became so strong I could not ignore it." Answering this call, Will entered the seminary in 2020, and is currently studying at Notre Dame Seminary in New Orleans. "Being in seminary has given me the opportunity to grow in knowledge of the Catholic faith and spiritual tradition. This has profoundly enriched my spiritual life and deepened my faith," he says.
Will is set to be ordained a transitional deacon in December 2024. Expressing his gratitude, he states, "I am deeply grateful for the generosity of the CSA donors. Your support has allowed me and other seminarians to fully commit to our formation so we can better serve the Lord and the people of our diocese."
