The Eucharistic RevivalBehold, i make all things new
In late 2019, a Pew Study indicated what many had long suspected. Few Catholics, approximately 30 percent, fully believe in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. This stark reality inspired the Bishops of the United States to action. More than an event or a program, they envisioned a true Revival to rediscover the source and summit of our faith through a deep commitment of prayer, pilgrimage and worship on the part of the entire church in the United States.
The Bishops of the United States have called for a three-year grassroots revival of devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist. They believe that God wants to see a movement of Catholics across the United States, healed, converted, formed and unified by an encounter with Jesus in the Eucharist -- and sent out on mission "for the life of the world."

The Holy Spirit's call to renew can be broken down into four invitations based on the pillars of the Revival:
- Reinvigorate Worship
- Create moments of personal encounter
- Engage in robust formation, and
- Send Catholics forth as missionaries

Year of MissionEucharistic Revival - June 2024 to June 2025
The Mission phase can be called the most important phase of the National Eucharistic Revival, where we go out and share the love of Jesus Christ in the Eucharist to transform the world!
Below are links to the Mission phase playbooks that offer ideas for helping you find different ways to participate in this Eucharistic Revival. The model is based on the ongoing dynamic of four pillars: Eucharistic Encounter, Eucharistic Identity, Eucharistic Life and Eucharistic Mission. Each section provides strategies, ideas from around the country and examples from saints who embodied each of these invitations.
