Hope Youth Fest October 11, 2025 Our Lady of Hope - Osyka
Pope Francis officially declared 2025 a Year of Jubilee with the theme “Hope Does Not Disappoint.” Putting our focus on HOPE and relying on the intercession of Our Lady of Hope, we would like to invite you to save the date for what we trust will be a beautiful event. Hope Youth Fest is set to take place at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Retreat Center in Chatawa, Mississippi on Saturday, October 11, 2025. This one-day event will bring hundreds of high school teens from the surrounding areas together to celebrate and encounter the Catholic faith. The day promises to ignite our hearts with music from The Vigil Project, along with talks and entertainment from Colin and Aimee MacIver, Kathleen Higgins, and Fr. Paul Gros. If that is not already exciting enough, the day will be emceed by Deacon Michael Parker and a special surprise activity is planned with local Catholic artist, Jacob Zumo! We will have confessions available, as well as adoration and will celebrate holy mass before Vigil Project takes the stage for praise and worship. The day is jam packed with content to welcome our youth into discovering their own identity within the Catholic faith.
Hope Youth Fest mission statement:
Hope Youth Fest is a Catholic ministry event held at Our Lady of Hope Catholic Retreat Center designed to promote discipleship and foster growth in Catholic identity among the young Catholic Church of today. The goal is to celebrate the Catholic faith through shared worship, prayer, and participation in the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass, as well as confession and adoration. Hope Youth Fest provides an opportunity for teenagers to experience a deep conversion and to come together to model Jesus Christ. This event strives to support the idea that our church is the beacon of hope for our world.
