The Diocese of Jackson invites you to become a member of the Catholic Foundation to sustain and grow the church for generations to come. Additionally, you can donate to the Catholic Service Appeal annually to fund the ongoing work of parishes, missions, schools, Catholic Charities and diocesan offices.
Bishop Joseph Brunini and 23 visionary Catholic leaders from throughout the Diocese of Jackson established the Catholic Foundation in 1973. Their enthusiasm was focused on creating a way to encourage and assist the people of the diocese to provide for the future financial security of their parishes, schools, and other organizations under the auspices of the diocese.
Catholic Service Appeal
The Catholic Service Appeal is the annual giving campaign of the Diocese of Jackson. There are many services the Diocese provides to our parishes, schools, and to all Catholics that would be difficult for even the most prosperous parishes to undertake on their own. This includes support for educating seminarians, Catholic Charities, campus ministry, mission parishes and schools, formational ministires, priest retirement and clergy assistance, evangelizing and communications. When the goal of the Catholic Service Appeal is achieved, we insure that these programs will receive the funding that is needed.
