Alleluia, Alleluia, He is Risen!

We welcome you to any of our churches to celebrate the resurrection!

Easter Vigil

At this grand celebration of the Resurrection, we welcome our newly baptized and professed brothers and sisters as they make the leap from Candidate and Catechumen to full members of the Church. We bless the new fire, light the Paschal candle and hear the story of salvation from creation to the resurrection to our great commission.

Good Friday Prayer

There is no Mass this Day. The faithful will be invited to venerate the cross and will receive Eucharist consecrated on Holy Thursday.

Until Easter we wait in sorrow and hope.

This is a day of fasting and abstinence.

Holy Thursday Mass

This Mass commemorates the Last Supper – as does every Mass – but also starts the Triduum, three days when we accompany Christ through the crucifixion in hopes of the resurrection on Easter Sunday. At this Mass, Bishop Kopacz will wash the feet of his parishioners in imitation of Jesus and the altar will be stripped bare as we wait, and watch and hope.

This traditional prayer service is a dramatic, reflective way to accompany Christ during Holy Week. All are welcome.

Chrism Mass

Bishop Kopacz will bless and consecrate the Oils of the Sick, Oil of Catechumens and the Sacred Chrism at this Mass. Representatives from all the parishes will receive their oils and carry them back to their parishes in time for Holy Thursday.
