St. Richard Jackson – Bereavement Support Group

St. Richard BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP

“NOBODY EVER TOLD ME THAT GRIEF FELT SO MUCH LIKE FEAR.”  C. S. Lewis

 Speaker – Judy Bryant, Chaplain

Thursday, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. in FOLEY HALL

The St. Richard Bereavement Support Group will meet THURSDAY, July 8, at 6:30 p.m. in FOLEY HALL. Judy Bryant is one who knows grief and still lives to help others. She has lost her husband, son and daughter at different times through the past years and has learned how to lean into the grief, knowing it will come back on you if you don’t go through it. rHurting with hope still hurts, but you can live and laugh again.

This group is for those who are hurting from losing a loved one OR for those who are trying to comfort and understand the grief of a family member or friend. PLEASE attend and INVITE any friends or relatives you know who are bereaved and hurting.  It is open to allIf you have questions, need directions, or just need to talk to someone, call Suzie Cranston 601-573-3347 or Nancy McGhee at 601-942-2078 or email ncmcghee@bellsouth.net

St. Richard Jackson – Bereavement Support Group

St. Richard BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT GROUP
“How Did King David Grieve?”
Speaker – Dr. Danny Dickerson, Chaplain of Kindred Hospice Ministries
Thursday, June 10, at 6:30 p.m. in FOLEY HALL

The St. Richard Bereavement Support Group will meet on THURSDAY, June 10, at 6:30 p.m. in FOLEY HALL. It sometimes takes courage to attend the first time, but IT DOES HELP. An interesting topic this month…What can we learn from how David grieved the deaths of King Saul, his friend Jonathan, and his two sons Absalom and a newborn son? Grieving the death of loved ones has always been a most difficult part of life. Dr. Dickerson also plays music as part of his sharing.

This group is for those who are hurting from losing a loved one OR for those who are trying to comfort and understand the grief of a family member or friend. PLEASE INVITE any friends or relatives you know who are bereaved and hurting.  It is open to all. If you have questions, need directions, or just need to talk to someone, call Suzie Cranston 601-573-3347 or Nancy McGhee at 601-942-2078 or email ncmcghee@bellsouth.net.

Masks are optional if you have been vaccinated. Packaged refreshments will be provided.

Please RSVP to Nancy MgGhee, so that they can have an idea of how many to prepare for.
